A good list of things to do is on the Toronto Humane Society website, as well as www.catsinthebag.org Get signs up and file a lost report with Toronto Animal Services and local shelters (and keep checking their listings). Make sure your microchip info is up to date with the company too. Post on Neighbourhood groups, and be sure to also do a post on the fb group Toronto Lost and Found Cats Local groups and shelters apply too.

As well as posting here you will need to get out and walk the neighbourhood to alert everyone that the cat is missing and ask them to check their yards in all hiding spots and in sheds and garages . The more neighbours that you talk to, and are actively looking around for your lost cat, the better. Ask them to keep watch on their security cameras too. Many people do not use Facebook and will not see your post so you need to walk and talk to them or they will not be aware.

If your cat was lost in Markham please ensure you notify Markham Animal Services. Also post on the York Region lost And Found Animals facebook page. When you do post there make sure you put the actual name of the street the cat went missing from, not just at Yonge and Clark.
