Thanks All, We've done almost all mentioned. Paid for 2 drone searches and bought my own ir drone to continue. Heavily wooded area and the body and outside temps match to well in this heat. Tough searching! We've done the bedding and scent trails. Flyers quite a bit. More to come! Thank You All, Great suggestions we appreciate it! We'll keep expanding on your ideas!

🐾Lost Dogs Please follow my advice. Knock on neighbor’s doors within a 2 mile radius and speak to people, hand out lost dog flyers. This is how you get sightings. Please put on the flyer “Do not call out. Do not chase.” Do not publish the locations of where the dog was seen because you’ll have a lot of people trying to go “Rescue” the dog which will force the dog further away. You do need sightings though, people keeping an eye out and contacting you with sightings and locations where seen. ⬇️ Please contact a legitimate pet tracking and recovery company. Some are volunteer based. Report to local police and animal control. Find out what shelter your town’s animal control contracts with to bring in strays. You can put a worn shirt (underarm scent) on your porch and replace with a freshly worn one daily. It’s a dog had a blanket that it slept on, you can put that out too. You can try barbecuing meat to draw the dog back.

🐾🐾Put food out at point of escape. First and most important. Put your unwashed clothing out side and on the clothes line, put the dogs bedding outside. Dogs can smell for miles. Barbecue on the grill. Contact shelters, vets, post on Next Door Apps. Check Craig’s List. Have people check their security cameras, see if some one has a drone. Check outbuildings, vehicles, waterways. Contact town, village workers, postal carriers, garbage men ,bus drivers, ups drivers, DEC. Put up flyers. File a police report in an event your dog was taken. Some times a calm dog will help locate a lost dog, take it out to search. Prayers for safe return. Shared.
