Indoor cats don’t venture far. Probably no more than 50 yards, so he’s hiding nearby. Call kitty late night and early dawn when it’s still outside. Use a flashlight to search and it may illuminate his eyes. Also search nearby storm drains. Cats love to hide in sewer drains.

Check Wake County Animal Shelter in person. Leave out clothes you have worn so he can pick up your scent. Search dust to dawn when all is quite. Under buildings, crawl spaces, and porches.
