General Information: Get your scent out in front of your house - use dirty laundry to do this. Hang it out high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back home. Keep an access point open in case the dog returns. Please post signs with the dogs' picture and your contact information on the signs. Post signs all over as if someone spots your dog and there is no ID on him/her the person can contact you (for those not on Social Media). Ask your neighbors to check their Ring Camera (if applicable). Call or go to the Animal Shelter in your area to see if he has been picked up. Prayers that your dog is found safely. Also there are scammers out there who claim to have your dog for a price - beware of these people.

Hang dirty laundry like T-shirt’s, socks or shoes high on a fence so the wind can carry your scent of whoever the dog is closest and bonded with. Dogs can smell from miles away and the dog can smell home and will return. Please leave something cracked in case he/she comes back such as the garage or front door. Sleep on the floor by the front door if you have to. Please post signs with the dogs picture and your contact information on the signs. Post signs all over - put the fliers on doorsteps - if someone spots your dog and there is no ID on him/her the person can contact you. Ask your neighbors to check their Ring cameras. If chipped notify the company that he/she is missing. Call all surrounding animal shelters and leave a detailed message for a return call. Also, please be aware there are scammers that will text you stating they have your dog and will send you pictures if you send them $$ or they will want you to activate a verification code… DO NOT fall for that!!
