Cat tips... place a piece of dirty clothing outside or his cat bed or blanket so he can smell home. Go outside every 30 minutes calling his name with chicken they love chicken standing in one spot on your property. Go outside at night every 30 minutes with a flash light look under cars in wheel wells and under bushes and up trees calling his name softly and listen for his meow. Ask neighbors to look inside their garages sheds and under decks. Put up posters and flyers in your neighbourhood. Leave a bat window open if you can or your garage door open a small amount for him to get back inside. They come out at night when it is quiet. Please go to the humane society daily if you can. Shared with prayers you find your baby

Shared. Note that TWO days is long time to a cat, so you have NO time to waste. IF you have NOT yet done all these things do them ASAP. Notify Richmond Hill Animal Services and check their website for found cats. Also notify nearby vet offices, rescues, shelters (e.g. Humane Society) and the microchip company if he's chipped. Cats will usually stay close to the door they left for a day or two before searching for food but remember that cats are nocturnal and HIDE daytime especially when scared or injured. Leave his used litter and some food and water in hidden places near that door. Check all nearby dark, shaded areas under bushes, shrubs and trees and places where he can shelter from wind, cold/heat and rain especially if she's hurt or injured. Check under decks, in window wells and dark corners of nearby porches, yards, garages, sheds and stairwells where he could be hiding or might be trapped. Thump the hoods and fenders of nearby parked cars in case he's is sheltering in an engine compartment or wheel well. Ask nearby neighbours to do the same and to check their porches, garages and yards where he could hide or may be trapped. See Pawboost for more suggestions and sample posters. Post notices in a 5 block radius, include outbuildings and construction sites. Put a notice in nearby (within a 5-10 block area of your property) neighbours' mailboxes. Post on FB lost and found dogs and cats site and on community and local store notice boards. Go out AFTER dark and bring food and treats. Walk around a 5+ block area, stop periodically, semi hide and put the food beside you not in your hand and softly call. Listen carefully but do NOT make any loud noises or sudden moves. Lost cats are terrified and do not recognize their owners as safe.
