Please try the following...LOST CAT TIPS Place litter box with used litter on front porch. Sprinkle some of the used litter in the front yard. The scent of the used litter will attract kitty home. Place some tuna and water outside near the litter box. Ask your neighbors if they've seen your cat and to please check garages, sheds, outbuildings and crawlspaces. Make fliers and hang them up around the area. Give a flyer to your mail carrier. If your cat is microchipped, contact the chip company and confirm / update your contact info. Check Montgomery Co. Animal Control often in person. Address 616 North Spring St. Phone number 931-648-5750. I am so sorry about your Kitty being lost. Put the Owner's worn clothes outside all around the house. Kitties don't go far, but they do hide a lot. When it is quiet and darker, go out and shake her food bowl and treat bag and hopefully she will hear it and come out. Talk quietly to her like you would if she was inside - yelling can scare them, though this is what we want to do because we want them HOME!! Knock on doors. Someone may have taken your Kitty in so she/he doesn't get hurt. Also ck with your Neighbors and ck their storage areas, sheds, etc. I know of a Kitty who was found in a storage room that had only been open for 5 mins. Put out flyers everywhere - stores, intersections, etc., and put the info on your car windows so that it gets the info out to more people. Use multiple actions to find your Pet...using only one may limit your success in getting your Kitty Home. Look inside over and over. Shake treats. Open food cans if you use canned food. - Any sound that the Kitty may come to. They are very good at hiding so she may have never left the house. Check with delivery people (mail, Amazon, Fed Ex, UPS, etc.) to see if they have seen your Pet. I'll be Praying for the Kitty to be found soon! Also, open the door he escaped from and leave open as long as possible. He will try to come back in that same way.
