The dog is probably in flight or fight mode and is scared due to the fireworks. Having a person approach or chase is not good when they are like this. Get a scent that is familiar to the dog out - hang it high so that the smell can travel and guide the dog back to the location where you want it to go. Consider getting a humane trap and hanging the familiar scent near the trap. Please post signs with the dogs picture and your contact information on the sign. Post these signs all over as if someone spots your dog and there is no ID on him/her - the person can contact you and provide a location of where the dog is. (Not everyone is on Social Media). Check with the local shelter in case the dog was found and turned in. Prayers your dog is found safely.

Please check REDLANDS animal shelter. We’re all pretty sure this is your dog.. you don’t wanna leave him there . He probably misses his mama… please let us know if it’s him Good luck

Suzy Collyer so sad. People don’t post a contact and rarely check back in. If we ignored s-c-a-m-e-r-s, trust me as I reunite dogs, a contact number is key to quick reuniting. I pray she goes to the shelter to redeem ASAP. Shelters will be clearing kennels to make room for 4 th of July. 🙏
