Plump black cat, short hair, well groomed, looks male, big face, skidding and wont allow me too close but within a foot.

Beautiful black kitty has been showing up at my house last few weeks. Won’t let me get close enough to see if it’s microchipped but looks well fed and groomed. We are feeding him/her bc they’re crying and hungry. We have a heating pad for our feral cat we’ve taken care of for years that this kitty is now claiming. Hasn’t come around every day but seeing often. Seems like someone’s house cat and hoping to reunite this baby with its owners.
