Lost Female Other last seen Washington Blvd and madison Ave, in the parking lot of the Wells fargo Bank. that is where I think she slipped out of the carry bag without me hearinhg her since her s is so soft., Culver City, CA 90232

Reported 3 weeks ago, updated 16 hours ago

Victoria Female Other

LOST PET ID: 70409809

Culver City, CA 90232

Vuictoria is a very strong but veru sick baby sulcata tortoise. she is not contageous. she did not get the sunlight for a long time, and her s became like rubber. I was so frightened she might die and took her to Access, animal emergency hosp where they gave her shots($6000 lter, she was doing better and better, but will require at least another $2500 worth of treatment at that hosp. In fact we were on our way to the animal hosp for the appointment when i stopped at the bank to draw the cash to pay for the care she would have gotten that day. I got to the hosp and found she was no longer in the bag as I thought. I haven;t been able to sleep. or eat ever since last sat5urday, a week ago today. I am begging whoever found my child, to please, oh please, return her to me and her sister Lucy who is still going around the hse looking for Victoria. we need her just as much as she needs us. I am willing to pay whoever saved the life of my little daughter up to $500 to get her back safely. I have an immediate family of 3. I feel as would a parent whose child dies. In fact it is wrse in the sense that at least the parent would know their child has past. in our case, however, we do not know what has become of her. is she in good hands? is she being handled by children? some are rough on pets. that would be deadly for V9ictoria. plus i wouldn't want her to slip back into the misery she suffered enclosed in a small tank within the ahouse and not get the UVB light she needed. I amm very good at taking care of them. please do not think I am a terrible father for misplacing someone so precious and happy with Lucy and me. Please, help us heal by returning my daughter, or at the very least let me know that hse is a;ive and well, for so i hope. May you be blessed for saving her from a potential ly being ran over by a car or meeting an animal that prays on such a smalland weak sickly baby tortoise. We pray every day and night that she appears at one of the shelters. Please do not adopt her out to anyone else. she has a family already. I can be reached at, or by email to anofueh@gmail.com Thank you

I lost my pet. What should I do?

Take advantage of online platforms – they help you get the word out, quickly and easily. You can report your lost pet to PawBoost in no time flat. We’ll send an email alert to our local members, post to the PawBoost-powered Facebook page for your area, add your pet to our lost & found, and make a lost pet flyer – all for free.

Other sites that help you raise local awareness for your lost pet with minimal time and effort are Nextdoor.com – a PawBoost partner – and Craigslist. Both of these sites have very active lost & found sections mainly used for lost pets. We highly recommend you use these resources in addition to PawBoost!

Visit your local shelters and animal control agencies in person. Details can get lost in translation over the phone and that might lead to missed connection.

If chipped, make sure your pet’s microchip is registered and up to date. If you don’t know your pet’s chip manufacturer or number, your vet should be able to help locate this information.

Put up flyers and tell your neighbors to be on the lookout. The more you engage the Los Angeles community, the better your chances of a happy reunion!
